Abi grew up in a family where honesty and curiosity were instilled by his parents from an early age. They taught him that by being truthful and maintaining a keen interest in learning and exploring, he could open doors to any opportunity and navigate life’s challenges effectively. Embracing these values, Abi developed the ability to ask questions, seek knowledge, and approach situations with both integrity and insight. Abi is an experienced professional with over 15 years of expertise in Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), governance, and internal audit. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universitas Padjadjaran in 2010, followed by an International MBA from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2020, and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Strategic Management at Universitas Indonesia. In addition, he holds professional certifications, including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors and Certification in Audit Committee Practices (CACP) from the Indonesian Audit Committee Association

Abi has built a distinguished career in consulting, audit, and governance, combining local and international experience. He began his professional journey at PwC Indonesia from November 2009 to January 2013 as a Senior Associate, where he led audit teams in evaluating clients’ financial reporting and internal controls. He worked closely with companies to identify potential risks and implement improvements, helping them enhance transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency. He then broadened his expertise at Kordsa Global in Istanbul from January 2013 to February 2014 as a Global Internal Audit Specialist. In this role, Abi collaborated with teams across nine countries, reviewing business processes, assessing risks, and standardizing internal audit practices. His work ensured that operations across multiple regions adhered to consistent governance standards while supporting strategic decision-making. Since June 2022, Abi has served as a Director at Deloitte Indonesia, where he leads projects that strengthen corporate governance and risk management frameworks. He guides organisations in improving financial reporting, implementing robust internal controls, and embedding a culture of accountability. Beyond compliance, he helps clients translate governance and audit insights into actionable strategies that drive long-term growth, resilience and value creation

Abi is the author of "Buku Saku Implementasi Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR)", published by CV. Campustaka in 2024. The book provides practical guidance on implementing effective internal control frameworks over financial reporting and is available in both physical and digital formats

Abi is actively engaged in civil and social activities within his community. He dedicates time and resources to help others, whether by sharing his professional knowledge through mentoring, workshops, and seminars, or by contributing physically and financially to local initiatives. His involvement spans supporting educational programmes, promoting ethical business practices, and assisting community development projects. Through these efforts, he seeks to create meaningful impact, empower those around him, and foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and mutual support

Abi is an active member of several professional organisations that advance governance, audit, and risk management both in Indonesia and globally. As a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), he engages with the international internal audit community, staying informed on best practices and emerging trends. In Indonesia, he participates in the Indonesian Audit Committee Association (IKAI), contributing to the development of audit committee standards and promoting strong corporate governance

Abi views achievements not merely as professional milestones but as a balance between career, family, and social contribution. Abi’s hobby is weightlifting, which he considers a vital source of energy and focus. Engaging in regular strength training helps him maintain physical fitness, mental clarity and discipline, thus supporting both his professional responsibilities and personal well-being

One of Abi’s most defining personal moments occurred during his tenure at Kordsa Global, where he travelled to multiple countries to perform internal audit tasks. Tasked with evaluating and improving business processes across diverse operations, he often worked alongside auditors from various nations, each bringing different experiences and approaches. Despite being relatively young and representing Indonesia, Abi demonstrated exceptional skill, diligence, and analytical insight, often outperforming expectations and earning the respect of his international peers. This experience was transformative, reinforcing his confidence and shaping his professional identity. It validated that talent and perseverance transcend borders and opened doors to opportunities in consulting, allowing him to contribute meaningfully to organisations on a global scale. The lessons he learned, such as adapting to different cultures, maintaining integrity under pressure, and leveraging expertise to create tangible improvements, have been instrumental in his journey toward leadership and his current role as Director at Deloitte Indonesia

Abi actively contributes to the education field by serving as a guest lecturer at several universities including Universitas Padjadjaran. He is also frequently invited as a speaker at various national and international seminars and conferences, where he shares his experience and knowledge on implementing Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), governance, and internal audit. Through lectures, workshops, and presentations, he provides practical insights that bridge academic theory and real-world practice
