His entrepreneurial journey began way back in 1989 when he set up Topsons garments store in Madurai, India. In 2000, he set up another garment factory there called Amazon Apparels own branding company in Chennai, india. Both businesses run till this day. In 2010, he set up his first restaurant in Singapore called New Mahamoodiya, followed not long after with the setting up of Shamiana North Indian Restaurant and Kudla Village, the first Mangalorean Cuisine in Singapore, also on the island state
Makes ad-hoc donations for the poor in Singapore, India and Indonesia, and has also been donating to children with bone marrow medical conditions for the past ten years. He also makes it a point to donate blood once a year
New Mahamoodiya Restaurant received a participation award in conjunction with the Anti-Drug Campaign in Singapore. They have also been featured on many mainstream media platforms.
