Jak was internationally acknowledged as a silat authority. In 2009, he was inducted into the Malaysian Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Also, the centre held the longest non-stop martial arts kicking relay over a 24hr period in 2004, recording a total of 28,080 kicks and landing them in the Malaysia Book of Records. They went on to break that record in 2018 with 64,000 kicks. They have also set a few punching records
