Since childhood, Aditya and his siblings were taught the importance of hard work. His parents taught them that if they want something, they have to earn it themselves. This value took deep root and shaped his character: grounded in discipline and responsibility. Aditya also places great importance on togetherness within the family. Since early on, his family has had a tradition of gathering once a week. This tradition continues to this day. Even when Aditya is away for work, his wife and child still attend the weekly gathering with his extended family. These values naturally carry over into his professional life. He never sees his colleagues or team members merely as subordinates, but rather as siblings. To him, the dynamics within a team are not so different from those within a family. In a family, there are tough moments, disagreements, and even arguments, but what matters most is the ability to return to mutual understanding and move forward together. He believes that when a team is built on a foundation of kinship, everyday conflicts or frictions will never become major issues

From the very beginning of his career, Aditya was never content with a single achievement. To reach the position he aspired to, he took the initiative to build relationships with his seniors and learn from the way they worked. So when the opportunity to lead finally came, Aditya was far more prepared than his peers. By the age of 25, Aditya was already entrusted with the role of restaurant and lounge manager at a five-star hotel, leaping two levels from his previous position; Believes this achievement came as a result of the credibility he built through consistent work. He was trusted to lead a multigenerational team and succeeded in fostering a work environment built on mutual respect. In his career, Aditya has always sought new experiences. Even after settling into the hotel industry, he ventured out to gain international experience aboard a cruise ship. He also took on a behind-the-scenes role, working not on the ground but at the corporate level, where he was trusted to oversee 25 hotels. Aditya realises that what sets him apart is his willingness to seize opportunities. With the wealth of experience he has gained, he consistently emphasises the importance of building a solid reputation and leaving a lasting legacy wherever he works
Aditya has initiated several ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes as part of the hotel’s commitment to the community. One of these is a food distribution initiative during Ramadan, aimed at supporting and showing compassion to the surrounding neighbourhood. Alongside his team, Aditya also organises visits to orphanages, where they provide essential supplies and spend time with the children. He is also actively engaged in partnerships with various social organisations. Through these collaborations, the hotel has taken part in disaster relief efforts, delivering aid to communities affected by floods, earthquakes and other emergencies

Aditya’s most meaningful achievement is the ability to build a consistent and progressive career in the hospitality industry for over 25 years. Starting as a waiter, he eventually rose through the ranks to become Director of Operations. Along the way, he held several key leadership positions such as Unit General Manager, General Manager of Operations, and led multiple major hospitality businesses. To him, this is a personal accomplishment that not everyone gets to experience. Yet one of the most memorable milestones in his journey was being directly involved in building a hotel from the ground up. He was part of the core team responsible for the entire process: from planning, construction, and opening. Aditya also played a key role in creating the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which would later serve as the operational backbone. For him, ensuring a consistent guest experience was fundamental. At the time, he didn’t fully grasp the magnitude of the role he played. However, after stepping away from the position and seeing his work being continuously implemented, he felt a deep sense of pride. He had been the mind behind the business. In his career, Aditya has taken on both roles, the executor and the system architect, and he is deeply grateful for both experiences

In his spare time, Aditya enjoys watching films. He appreciates the storyline and the creative process behind each movie, believing that every film, regardless if it is a good movie or not, offers valuable lessons; Also fond of basketball and golf. Interestingly, Aditya doesn’t enjoy the high-pressure atmosphere of competitive basketball games. Instead, he prefers playing alone on the court, seeing it as a way to train his sensitivity and focus. The same goes for golf, a sport he enjoys for its calm, unhurried rhythm
There are two moments in Aditya’s life that are very profound for him. The first was his encounter with John M. Flood, CEO of Archipelago International. Aditya had never imagined himself working at the holding company level, because he had always grown in the operational track. But John recognised his track record, perseverance and potential. Aditya was entrusted with designing operational systems for all hotel units, unifying cross-regional teams, and developing the SOPs that are still used today. Aditya wonders if he could ever have realized he was capable of building something that big, if he had not met John M. Flood. The second moment was a regret. His decision to work on a cruise ship required him to be away from home for months. At the same time, his child was just entering the toddler years. Aditya realised he had missed some of the most precious milestones: the first day of school, the first words, or simply being there to put his child to sleep. By the time he returned home, the child had already grown. It was a once-in-a-lifetime moment that slipped away, one that he could never get back
First, protect your reputation. In the professional world, trust is the most valuable currency. Once it's damaged, it's incredibly hard to restore. Second, opportunities rarely come twice. Every chance that comes your way should be treated as a challenge that has the potential to change your life. Third, a business built on a spirit of kinship will be more sustainable and resilient. When the work environment is rooted in genuine care, employees don’t just complete tasks - they serve with heart. And when employees feel valued, they will naturally extend that same care to guests and clients.
