Outside of his busy professional life, Agung is known as an active person who loves challenges and new experiences. He is a seasonal runner and cyclist who enjoys every step and pedal as a form of self-reflection. As a marathon finisher in Bali (2019), Berlin (2019), and Los Angeles (2020), Agung demonstrates that consistency and perseverance always pay off. He is also a recreational golfer, food lover, and business traveller who combines work, exercise, and the exploration of flavours in a vibrant daily life
The most memorable moment in Agung's life journey occurred in 2005, when he started his career at M Tech, a company in Singapore. At the time, he was just one of the first few employees, working without a permanent office — only with passion and the belief that every small step would mean a big thing in the future. From there, he witnessed firsthand how something simple could grow to extraordinary proportions: from no office to having his own workspace, from just a few people to dozens of colleagues. That experience shaped the perseverance and sense of responsibility that later carried over to Napoleone, where he progressed from sales to management. From a turnover of $700,000 to $30 million in 10 years, with a team that grew from 7 to 70 people — Agung learned that success is not just about numbers, but about the journey, togetherness, and the belief in continuing to grow
Believes that success doesn't come from luck alone, but rather, from consistency and persistence. He holds fast to the principle that small, consistent steps will yield big results. Throughout his career, Agung has focussed on the process, not just the outcome; Learned that challenges are part and parcel of growth, and with perseverance and unwavering commitment, every dream slowly becomes a reality.
