His parents passed down simple, powerful truths. They taught him that money and possessions can disappear, so knowledge and a good education are the only things that truly last. Even though their family didn't have much, they always gave their best to their kids. The other big rule is to bring God into everything and work your hardest; with that, even the tough things feel easier. Most importantly, he was taught that life is about service: never fool people, but go out and help as many as you possibly can

Leveraging his medical and administrative expertise, he is highly active in public outreach. He regularly conducts health talks at hotels and companies to provide vital health education and counseling. Beyond public speaking, he maintains an active philanthropic life focussed on two key demographics: he organises and delivers essential aid — including necessities, milk, and clothing materials — to both orphanages for children and care homes for the elderly, supporting both the youngest and most vulnerable members of the community
Siloam TB Simatupang received an award for the best BPJS (Social Security Agency or Social Security Administrative Bodies) employee. His work is defined by excellence in patient care. His team received the highly respected Angel Award for best stroke care for an impressive four consecutive years through 2023. This award is a huge testament to his and his team’s commitment to the toughest standards — constantly monitoring and working to provide the absolute best outcome for stroke patients. 2023
His rapid rise to his current position is a clear result of his intense work ethic and his drive to learn his way to the top. While he’s proud of that professional success, he sees his biggest win as something far more personal: having a supportive wife and three children. For him, the ultimate measure of his life's success is having a family that believes in him and supports him completely

His dedication to medicine is rooted in a moment of clarity he had as a high school volunteer at a mass treatment event. He was struck by the level of suffering in the city, realising he had to become a doctor to change things. He set out to provide both treatment and health education. That commitment lives on today: the hospital he leads puts its focus entirely on helping the community, making sure they deliver the best possible service at a very affordable price to reach as many people as possible
His future plans involve launching an innovative healthcare programme. He’s currently setting up a VIP service but with a twist: his goal is to make this premium level of care available to a much larger segment of the community. This move is all about commitment — proving that the highest quality service can be delivered and made affordable for all income levels, breaking the old idea that great healthcare must be exclusive
He knows that success only lasts if you’re willing to change and adapt when the world shifts — and for him, change is a guarantee. He makes sure that he’s always nimble. He won’t let himself get bored or stuck in something repetitive; he constantly pushes his team to be creative and innovative, ensuring their work is always fresh and never stuck on one path.
