Beyond his professional commitments, Apep finds balance and inspiration through his hobbies. He is an avid marathon runner, a passionate mountain hiker, and a keen photographer — pursuits that reflect his discipline, appreciation for nature, and an eye for detail. These personal interests not only recharge him, but also echo his values of endurance, exploration, and perspective
When asked about the most memorable moment in his life, Apep M.K. Noormansyah reflects back on his undergraduate years — a time when he was fully devoted to academic success. He recalls spending countless hours studying, pushing himself with unrelenting discipline and high expectations. Yet, despite his effort, he ended up receiving a disappointing grade. That experience left a lasting impression. It was a humbling reminder that working hard is important, but without balance, it can become counterproductive. From that point forward, he embraced a deeper understanding: success requires not only dedication, but also self-care, mental clarity, and a steady perspective. It's a philosophy he carries with him to this day—whether leading a team, facing challenges, or mentoring others
One of the most important lessons Apep Noormansyah has embraced in his journey is the power of balance, a principle he learned from the life of King David. David was a remarkable leader who not only conquered battles but also made time for reflection, worship, and personal growth. This inspired Apep to shape his own leadership style with a similar mindset. In the midst of professional demands, Apep commits to working with dedication and discipline. Yet, he also understands that long-term success cannot come at the cost of personal well-being. Whether it’s spending time with family, running marathons, hiking mountains, or enjoying photography, Apep makes space for the things that recharge his energy and fuel his passion. For Apep, balance is not a luxury — it’s a strategy. He believes that when you work hard, you should also live life fully. This philosophy not only keeps him grounded but has become one of the key reasons behind his sustainable success.
