Chandra’s work ethic was forged in the quiet strength of his upbringing. His mother as a small business owner, became his earliest role model. He vividly remembers her carrying heavy sacks of rice by day, and still waking half-asleep to serve customers who knocked on their door at midnight. Despite his father’s professional career, his mother insisted on running a home-based business, proving that they are the true example of hard work

Beginning as a Management Trainee in 2002, he quickly demonstrated a sharp understanding of business fundamentals across diverse regions — Jakarta, Pekanbaru, and Jambi — laying the foundation for a dynamic trajectory within PT United Tractors Tbk. From 2003 to 2007, Chandra served as an Administration Department Head in Timika and Medan, where he honed his skills in financial and administrative operations. His transition to Branch Manager roles in Lampung and later across Indonesia marked a pivotal shift — he became responsible for full branch operations, overseeing unit sales, parts, and service support, and driving performance across complex, multi-functional teams. Between 2012 and 2015, Chandra took on the role of a Sales Manager, where he led PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) initiatives to ensure organisational alignment and execution. He developed and implemented sales strategies, re-engineered business processes, and fostered a culture of continuous improvement. He is then expanding his influence and regional impact. As a Sales Area Head for Java, Sulawesi, and Papua in 2015, Chandra managed diverse markets and teams, navigating regional complexities with agility. His promotion to Deputy General Manager and later General Manager Sales Operations (2018–2024) reflected his influence, where he spearheaded national sales operations, optimised performance, and built resilient sales ecosystems. In April 2024, Chandra embraced a new chapter as a Marketing Director at PT. Bina Pertiwi, a strategic subsidiary of United Tractors and Astra International Group. In this role, he brings over two decades of experience in driving brand positioning, market expansion, and customer engagement, thus strengthening his reputation as a visionary leader in Indonesia’s heavy equipment and industrial solutions sector

With a distinguished track record at Astra International Group, this seasoned executive now serves as a dynamic facilitator for Astra’s First Line Manager program. Designed for emerging leaders stepping into their first leadership roles, the Accelerated Advance Leadership Program offers a transformative experience. Participants dive into intensive mentoring sessions, gain strategic insights, and sharpen their leadership acumen through thoughtfully curated classes.
