Right after completing elementary school, he set his sights beyond borders and embarked on an educational journey in the United Kingdom. At Concord College in Shrewsbury, he distinguished himself by earning both O-Level and A-Level certifications, laying a strong foundation for global thinking, analytical skills and intellectual rigour. His pursuit of excellence continued at King’s College, University of London, where he pursued a Business Management major and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002

In the 1970s, his father laid the foundation of PT Cisadane Raya Chemicals, a pioneering force in the Indonesia’s oleochemical sector. As the second generation, he didn’t choose the family business, it chose him. Upon graduation, he was asked to dive straight into the company, bypassing the chance to explore paths beyond its walls. With humility and resolve, he began his professional journey as a Procurement Manager in 2001. Over the next decade, he took on critical roles across the group’s subholdings: Vice President of Operations at PT Angso Duo Sawit (2003), PT Sepakat Siantar (2004), and PT Jambi Batanghari Plantations (2006). Yet behind the titles, the reality was turbulent. The organisation lacked governance, structure, and strategic clarity. By 2011, both he and his sibling were removed from their respective positions, shares, and legacy they had tried to uphold. But from that rupture, came the reinvention. He turned his focus to PT Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk in 2010. Though he is the second-generation steward of the company, he never leaned on lineage. Instead, he chose to earn his place the hard way, starting his journey as a Vice Operational Director, rolling up his sleeves and immersing himself in the day-to-day realities of the business. It wasn’t entitlement that defined his path, but effort, insight, and integrity. And in 2016, that dedication was recognised when he was entrusted with the role of President Commissioner, a truly deserving position for what he has gone through. With grit and vision, he has transformed the company into a respected industry player, known not only for its performance, but for its integrity. The company which was once grappling with uncertainty has now emerged as a different revitalised force: regaining public trust, redefining its role in the industry, growing the regional economy, recording profits, until being a public listed company

He studied relentlessly, asked the right questions, and surrounded himself with many seasoned professionals. Together, they didn’t just build a company, they make it thrive.
