One of Dani Sulaeman’s life goals is to contribute meaningfully to the community and society. Dani has a deep passion for cycling—not only as a form of sport or recreation, but also as a moment for reflection, inspiration, and networking. For him, cycling offers the perfect balance between physical activity and meaningful interaction with others. Interestingly, it was during one of his regular cycling sessions that he first became introduced to the oil and gas sector—a chance encounter that would later shape the direction of his professional journey. This makes cycling not just a hobby, but a significant turning point in his life.

There was a pivotal moment in Dani Sulaeman’s earlier career when he was held responsible for a situation that was entirely beyond his control. At the time, he was handling a high-profile client—someone with significant influence and authority. Despite the circumstances being outside of his responsibility, Dani chose to take the blame with integrity and composure. While it was a difficult experience, it ultimately became a turning point in his professional journey. From that moment on, he cultivated a resilient mindset, embraced a can-do attitude, and strengthened his core values of bravery and honesty. That challenge helped shape the leader he is today.

For him, as long as we begin with sincere intentions and follow through with integrity and effort, the rest will fall into place—because, as he often reminds himself, “Begin with sincere intentions, and carry them out with excellence.”
