Daughters Of Tomorrow was founded in 2014. I joined at the end of 2016 and by 2020, I was in the transition phase and completely took over as the Executive Director. It was a great achievement that we got through the tumultuous year and also having grown the team and our operations to meet the increasing needs of women from low-income communities. In the years of my career being in the social sector, I continually made progress and expanded my role year on year because of the innate desire to contribute to an increase in impact footprint

I couldn’t help my mother alleviate much of her financial hardship growing up. But today I lead an organisation to empower women from low-income communities towards financial independence. Their journey of receiving the first paycheck, getting a well deserved promotion, the first family holiday, and becoming a home owner. What I couldn’t do for my mum back then, I do now to enable other women/mothers to provide a better tomorrow for themselves and their children
