1995 - 1995 Technician with Toshiba Electronics. Joined Aetna Life (currently AIA) in 1994 as a part time agent and went full time in 1995. In 1996, was promoted to Unit Manager of Mega Star and in 2002 was made Agency Manager. Have a total of seven branches in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Puchong, Banting, Ipoh and Klang. Having 400 life planners under it's umbrella, Mega Star Life has received recognition as a Mega Agency Producer since 2015, bringing in minimum RM5 million worth of premiums and, from 2003 till now, have been recognized as a Million Dollar Agency, raking in premiums of minimum RM2 million per year. Kartik has been recognized as MDRT producer since 2007
Has set up the Mega Life Charity Foundation to help the poor with financial aid, food and education allowance
