After graduating from UK with an honors degree, Adzri returned to Malaysia and secured a position as Marketing Executive at KFC Holdings (M) Berhad. Primarily, he was in charge of Local Store Marketing (LSM) planning which includes Trade Area Analysis, reviewing theme, objectives, market, mechanics, product costing, A&P and promotion projection. He was also actively involved in KFC branding and mainstream activities such as creative concepts, product research, campaigns, promotion launches etc. After gaining valuable experience from KFC, in 2001 he joined Wira Saujana Travels & Tours (WSTT) as an Executive Director. WSTT is registered under Ministry of Tourism, Art & Culture Malaysia (MoTAC) and its primary services is providing travel packages for Muslims to visit Mekkah (for Umrah & Hajj). Wira Saujana Travels & Tours, spearheaded by Adzri since 2001, conducted a revamp exercise to start a strategic plan for umrah tourism services. In 2008 Adzri launched an aggressive marketing campaign by appointing 150 agents to promote umrah and hajj packages. In 2011, WSTT was official appointed as a licensed Hajj Operator by Lembaga Tabung Haji Malaysia, marking a new leap in its business journey. In 2018, in line with the popularity of digital marketing, WSTT launched a digital marketing campaign and managed to double its sales of Hajj packages. WSTT now has branches all over Malaysia and has continued to serve as one of the best Umrah and Hajj service providers in Malaysia. In 2023, WSTT was appointed as a strategic business partner by the Saudi Tourism Authority for a joint promotion programme to promote Saudi Arabia as a tourism destination in conjunction with the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030

Appointed as Vice – President (Umrah & Hajj) for Persatuan Syarikat Pengendalian Pelancongan Bumiputera Malaysia @ BUMITRA from 2016-2019. During his stint as VP, he contributed in linking the local industry players to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia vendors through exhibitions, conferences and meetings. Although no longer hold a position, Adzri is still a member and continues to provide ideas and solutions for the Umrah & Hajj tour industry

Adzri on behalf of WSTT was invited by MOTAC (Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia) to be part of a team to form a panel known as MKSU (Majlis Kawal Setia Umrah) along with 16 other government agencies spearheaded by MOTAC. Primary role of MKSU is to pave the way and provide guidelines as well as issuing the Special Umrah Licensing (Lesen Khas Umrah) to industry players
