Rahmat Dwi Putranto was born and raised in a family deeply rooted in the traditions of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), a family that embraces Islam in its traditional yet moderate form. Growing up in a Javanese household, he was surrounded by the timeless values of harmony, humility, and respect. His parents instilled in him the belief that true strength lies in balance between faith and intellect, tradition and progress, individual ambition and collective harmony. These values became the foundation of the family’s guiding principles: rukun (harmony), damai (peace), and religius (spiritual devotion). As he matured, Rahmat learned to see modernity not as a threat to tradition but as an opportunity to enrich it. This perspective shaped his leadership and his vision for life, where innovation is guided by faith and progress is achieved through peace and cooperation.

One of his most significant accomplishments during his leadership at IBLAM was the acquisition of a dedicated building for the institution, a milestone that had eluded the organization for 30 years since its founding. In just four years of his tenure, he successfully secured a 2,300 m² facility valued at over IDR 30 billion. This achievement not only strengthened IBLAM’s infrastructure but also symbolized a new era of growth, stability, and vision for the school.

During his Master’s studies in Russia, he faced a significant setback when the university informed him that his chosen program was not open to foreign students, resulting in him not passing at that time. He returned to Indonesia, but the unwavering support and encouragement from his family never faltered. This experience became a turning point for Rahmat Dwi Putranto, teaching him that sometimes what we chase may be artificial, while the true path is already waiting right in front of us. Through resilience and determination, he rose again, stronger and more focused on meaningful goals.
His success is rooted in the core values instilled by his family: harmony (rukun), peace (damai), and a foundation in faith. He believes in starting small, embracing each step as part of a larger journey toward meaningful achievement
